Our docs are part of the product — often the first thing a developer touches and the thing they curse when it’s wrong. You’d treat writing as engineering: precise, tested, and ruthlessly edited down to what’s true.
What you’ll actually do
Turn half-finished features into docs people can follow on the first try. Own the reference, the guides, and the tone. Run every example yourself, because a snippet that doesn’t run is a bug with better formatting.
You’ll fit right in if
You can read code and explain it without dumbing it down. You have strong opinions about clarity and no ego about cuts. You think the best sentence is often the one you removed.
Nice extras
A background in engineering or a suspicious amount of self-taught fluency. Experience owning a docs site end to end. A soft spot for a well-placed example.
How hiring goes
A conversation, a paid writing exercise on a real feature, and a team round. We’ll read your edits as closely as your drafts.
